Every year in August the new appointment with the event organized by the Historical Society of Piagnaro Group, is the medieval re-enactment of the provision of free municipality of Pontremoli occurred in 1226 by Frederick II.

The event is organized with free entertainment and traveling shows.

The presence of various historical groups and street performers entertain the evenings while the town districts are contendino the prize in a magical duel.

Trade and craft stalls with figures dressed in period costumes realizzerano a medieval market.

Spectacular are the historical woo, throwing the flag wavers at the sound of drums and the warriors in battle.
