The Giostra del Saracino is an old game on horseback, as a military training exercise, has its roots in the Middle Ages and refers to the age-old struggle. The event is held annually in Arezzo, the second Saturday of June at night (Tournament of San Donato, the patron saint of the city) and the first Sunday of September in the afternoon (Tournament in September).

io abito ad arezzo dove appiìunto si svolge la giostra e credo ke sia una rievocazione quasi perfetta di quello ke era quel tempo. consiglio a tutti di andarlo a vedere perchè è strabiliante...soprattutto lo spirito di squadra...forza santo spirito!!!!

Sono stata all'edizione notturna della giostra sabato17 giugno e devo dire che è una manifestazione poco conosciuta ma senz'altro molto carina.Penso che sia giusto non perdere certe rievocazioni che caratterizzano le città italiane
